Task 2 - Story

It was the letter that change my whole life. I hold the letter from ten years ago, the letter that change everything. I just found it when I cleaned my room, ready to moved to my new house. No name from the sender, it’s just my name that written there. But I could know who wrote it. I was ready to open the letter, when my mom call  and told me to get ready.

I moved to another city, it’s really far. For the good life, they said. By ‘they’ I mean mom and dad. I feel alone. My brother just died two months ago, and I just hate the fact that I had to leave all my friends, including my brother. Short story, I arrived to my new house, and I began to unpacked my things. Then I saw the letter that I found, so I just open it. It was from my brother. 

“Hi, Clara, it’s me Jayden. I just want to tell you something. Be a good girl, for mom and dad, and also make us proud. Study hard so you can go to a top university. I’m sorry I can’t be with you from now, but promise me everything that I write before.  I’m watching you, kiddo.”

                I cried when I read that. Until now, ten years later. I just graduate from top university, I keep my promise for him. I did it, bro :)
